Research Poster Competition
The Finnish Society of Computational Sciences (Sulatis) organizes a
competition for research posters in the seminar "Computational Science Day"
to be held on September 29th, 2010 in Kuopio, Finland (at the University of
Eastern Finland). Sulatis calls for research posters in the field of
computational sciences.
The competition has series for doctoral student research.
Series is for ongoing doctoral dissertation research by graduate
students at some Finnish university. Posters must describe individual work
describing the scientific contribution of a doctoral student. Thus, posters
made by research groups are not accepted. The board of Sulatis will choose
the best poster. The winner will be rewarded with 300 euros.
Apply for the competition by contacting Sulatis sihteeri@sulatis.fi
before September 15th, 2010. Attach to your application
an abstract with the maximum of 200 word of the topic of the poster. Send a
copy of the poster to Sulatis secretary sihteeri@sulatis.fi in the pdf format before September
27th, 2010. The maximum size of the poster is A0 in vertical direction. Each
competitor must print the poster and bring it to Kuopio oneself. The name
and the university of the author have to appear on the poster. Attending the
Computation Science Day seminar is required for participating in the
competition.
